The Ghorepani Trek stretches between the Annapurna Circuit and the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, but is shorter and doesn’t need a prior acclimatization. It can last between three and seven days if an optional visit to the Jhinu hot springs or a link to the Dhampus Trek is included. The Ghorepani Trek passes through Gurung villages, high into the mountains, and is a terrific opportunity to see the great Himalayan peaks, such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Machhapucchare.

This trek starts from the north eastern outskirt of Kathmandu . The first stretch of the Chisapani Nagarkot Trek is uphill walk through the rhododendron forest of the Shivapuri national park. After 4-5 hrs of walk we reach the spectacular mountain view point of Chisapani from where we can have close view of a long range of Eastern Himalayas from Langtang to Gaurishankar Ranges . On the second day we walk past some ethnic villages and mostly through a dense and beautiful forest, listening the birds chirping and enjoying the view of the Himalayas .
