After Kathmandu to Lhasa trip, we start the Kailash & Lake Mansarovar trip on 4 wheel drive then need to walk 3 days to circuit (Kora) of Mt Kailash which can be bit tough and challenging to cross Droma-La Pass (5635m). Along the highway we travel through some of the most amazing landscapes on Earth. We pass small Tibetan settlements, nomadic herdsmen wandering across the wide arid plains and awe-inspiring mountain peaks. Lake Manasarovar is a freshwater lake in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. To the west of Lake Manasarovar is Lake Rakshastal while toward the north is Mount Kailash. Important note for accommodation: It is to be noted that the above rates are on sharing basis. If you wish to stay in a single room you must pay single room supplement. Also please note that single/twin sharing rooms will be provided only in Kathmandu, Lhasa and Shigatse. How much is duration of Kailash Mansarover Yatra?


Kailash Mansarover Yatra is ex Kathmandu and has following Duration

10 days for the Helicopter Route Via Nepalganj/Simikot

14 Days for the Overland route via Kerung Border and after clearing the Immigration 7 seater Jeep

14 Tour Via Lhasa where Kathmandu Lhasa to/fro by flight and onward by land transport
17 Days Inner Kora with Nandi Parvat and Astapad.

We would conduct and facilitate Two Parikramas Mansarover Parikrama of 112 Km is done by the Eco Coaches Kailash Parikrama of 2 nights is optional depending upon the guest health since the trek of 38 kms via Dirapuk and Zuthulpuk option of Pony /yak is also available on direct payments.


Kailash Mansarovar trekking trips usually starts from late April and continues until October. However depending on the weather conditions most travellers consider May, June, August and September as the best time to visit Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar Lake. For helicopter trips monsoon time (July and first few days of August) are not considered to be favourable, but a large no. Of travellers still travel there due to restrictions with their personal schedule etc.

The trip to Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar is suitable for the average travelers who are physically and moderately fit and no previous experience is required. However, it is suggested that some physical fitness is essential such as swimming, running, and hiking and etc. It is very important to consult with your physical about your physical and health condition before you make a plan for Mt. Kailash tour. Please bear in mind that while in Kora, you will be crossing above 5000m and trekking for about 7-8 hours.
