Ghorepani Winter Trek
The Ghorepani Trek stretches between the Annapurna Circuit and the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, but is shorter and doesn’t need a prior acclimatization. It can last between three and seven days if an optional visit to the Jhinu hot springs or a link to the Dhampus Trek is included. # No 2: Chisapani Nagarkot Winter Trek – One of the most beautiful treks in Kathmandu.
This trek starts from the north eastern outskirt of Kathmandu . The first stretch of the Chisapani Nagarkot Trekis uphill walk through the rhododendron forest of the Shivapuri national park. After 4-5 hrs of walk we reach the spectacular mountain view point of Chisapani from where we can have close view of a long range of Eastern Himalayas from Langtang to Gaurishankar Ranges . On the second day we walk past some ethnic villages and mostly through a dense and beautiful forest, listening the birds chirping and enjoying the view of the Himalayas . In the winter months we sometimes even meet wild fowls and sometimes even deers .
