Khopra Danda Trek is one of the best trekking trails which covers hidden treasures of Annapurna region. One of them considered the best of offbeat is the trek that goes to the community lodge at Khopra Ridge. This off- beaten trek leads you away from the crowded paths.
It combines all the beautiful things trekking in Nepal is famous for: Beautiful mountain views views of the Dhaulagiri range, small traditional villages, rice fields and huge rhododendron forests. The best of both worlds!.
It is also known as Khayer Lake Trek and Mohare Danda Khopra Ridge Trek. This new short Annapurna trek is an alternative to the popular trek – Poon Hill (3210m). Choosing this trek will take you to even higher altitude than Poonhill within a short time – Khopra Ridge (3660m).
If you’re looking for the perfect week-long trek, a little off-the-beaten-path and with great views, this Khopra Danda Trek is a great choice. It combines the best of what Nepal has to offer: amazing mountain views, pastoral villages and rice fields layered on top of each other, descending down into the valley.
The best part is that so few people know about it. This is a great alternative trek to the more popular and more crowded Ghorepani trek.
